Male pelvis rule 10 : Testicular trauma

Ultrasonographic findings of testicular injury include irregular testicular contour (rupture), multifocal linear hypoechoic areas (contusion), complex hydrocele, or extratesticular mass caused by hematoma.


After trauma, there is an anechoic oval lesion seen in the testicle which is consistent with testicular hematoma.

Color Doppler image revealed non vascularity of the lesion confirming its nature as hematoma and at the same time excluding a cystic testicular neoplas
